AIM Faculty Development

AIM Case Teaching and Discussion Leadership Workshop is unique workshop builds on the considerable expertise that has been built up over the years in AIM and it showcases many of AIM’s most effective case teachers.  It starts with a review of the purpose and premises of the case cum discussion leadership method.  

 

Subsequent sessions focus on specific skills needed to facilitate case discussions, including:

• Establishing a learning contract

• Using questions, listening, and responding

• Directing versus controlling  

• Preparing for case discussions

• Engaging students

• Developing and evaluating case teaching competence

 

The case teaching and discussion leadership workshop is an opportunity for us to share our art and learn from each other.
